It’s WEBSITE WEDNESDAY again! 💥
Ready for more hints and tips for your business website? Here’s a big one.
No.6: Make full use of all your keywords.
Start by listing out all the words and phrases that your prospective customers might type into Google if they were looking for something that you provide. Remember, they have never heard of you or your business. But you have what they need. Think generally, but then list others that are more specific. Add some adjectives too.
For example, your list may end with ‘Blue handmade silver earrings’ (if you’re a jeweller) or ‘Bespoke oak coffee table’ (if you’re a furniture manufacturer) or ‘Affordable wedding venue on Devon coast’ (if you run a large hotel in Sidmouth).
Now, are you incorporating your full list of keywords within your written content and hidden SEO settings, across the full set of pages on your website? If not, you need to. This is basically essential in helping Google to understand what’s on your pages.
Of course, there’s a knack to it, and there are some further loopholes to jump through with Google. But optimising a website does not take a lot of time and I can show you how. If you’d like to know more, just get in touch. There’s no point in letting your prospective customers click through to your competitors instead.
