Spring 2020. It’s been another busy few weeks at Site Review UK. Here’s my latest news.
I’m pleased to be able to announce a new service – for no extra charge – that will save you hassle and time.
It is optional, but if you are happy to temporarily give me access to your website interface, then I will make all the necessary updates myself. And I’ll explain everything that I’ve done, in my report, so you’ll have the knowledge if you wish to make similar updates yourself in the future.
This has worked particularly well for three clients now. Two were WordPress users, like me, but the other owned a website built using WIX, which provided a good learning opportunity. Needless to say, WIX has a good interface and it was easy for me to pick up.
So, if you find you don’t have time to implement my suggested updates – or if you don’t wish to pay your website developer to do it – you can now ask me!
My website content reviews and SEO audits are helping an increasing number of small businesses, mostly in Devon but some further afield. The winter months saw me working with three new clients. All have provided great feedback, so I’m very grateful for their testimonials.
Please help spread the word about my services. You can follow me on Facebook via @SiteReviewUK to help keep in touch. Facebook followers as well as clients can take part in my referral reward scheme, which provides unlimited £10 cashback rewards for any referrals that lead to new work.
Focus on SEO
Since Christmas, I have been working hard on my own search engine optimisation. It is difficult to rank high in the listings of SEO experts, without paying for Google Ads, but my targeted efforts have helped me rank no.1 or no.2 for search terms like:
- website content expert advice UK, …Devon, and …Honiton
- website content advice Devon, and …Honiton
- professional website content advice UK, …Devon, and …Honiton
- professional content advice Devon
- website content writing service Honiton
- affordable website advice Honiton
- as well as for sitereviewuk and “Site Review UK”
…and on page 1 for these five search terms:
- SEO-friendly content Devon
- website content writer Devon
- website content advice UK
- professional content advice UK
- affordable website advice Devon
Obviously, I can repeat this success for your small business too, so do get in touch.
My latest blog ‘The 3 best free SEO tricks for your website or blog’ provides some great advice to consider. Trick no.1, ensuring your content is well written, is not just about writing grammatically correct and interesting content. It’s more about making it SEO-friendly, using formatting tricks and well-thought through metadata to help Google understand what you are writing about.
The blog received some great feedback: “Reads well”, “Your explanations are easier to read than most I’ve come across” and “You’ve made this really accessible Simon – I’m normally lost half way through articles like this but you kept me til the end – Thankyou!”
Please share the blog to help spread the word, by clicking either the Facebook or the Twitter button at the bottom of the blog.
Finally, my topical awareness campaigns continue. I celebrated my 100th Facebook follower and Site Review UK’s first birthday, and launched campaigns around Valentine’s Day and the Six Nations. Follow @SiteReviewUK on Facebook to keep right up to date.
More soon, Simon
